3D space fleet [Bryce 4] 29 Aug 2007

Somehow , some time ago, as part of our program Bryce 4 , and for one and for a number of practical problems (create videos that are projected on the screen during my concerts , design CD covers ), I created a collection of three-dimensional models of space subjects . Basically something like spaceships and orbital stations . Here is historically wormed airplane, helicopter and egg-like lunarmobil . All these models are of course very primitive, but are of interest to those who are just learning to model program means Bryce.

For a long time , these models can be used exclusively as part of Bryce's scenes and move to the scene of other programs did not work. However, the new version of the program (Bryce 6) the opportunity to convert Boolean groups ( and all of these models are made exclusively with Boolean combinations of primitives - how? - A topic for another conversation , and I hope to return to it over time ), and now these same space ships can be used in any other three-dimensional modeling software (3D MAX, CARRARA, MAYA, LIGHTWAVE, TRUESPACE ...) beforehand converted their format from Bryce in some other general use in three-dimensional format (3ds, dxf, obj ...).

But beyond all depending on whether you use them in something else and with some artistic purpose , these models will be useful for you to become familiar with the basic techniques of modeling program Bryce by combining primitive objects , such as a sphere , cube, pyramid , cone...

Use them as a designer - disassemble, assemble , find out patterns and tricks. I would be glad if it will do you good . Just in these models sometimes demonstrated solutions texturing and animating objects.
